Kapsang Church is located on the AIC Cheptebo Rural Development Centre campus. This is an exciting project in rural Kenya focussing on improved agricultural practices. The project was built of masonry walls with a trussed timber roof, spanning some 11.5m. The trusses were designed and detailed by ADAC-structures from their Scottish base and e-mailed to site for construction by local people, under careful supervision. Careful detailing enabled the project to be completed to a high standard with limited resources. All Engineering input was possible with no international travel, with input on site conditions provided by reliable local people.
