These signs are installed either side of the village of Tomintoul, with stylized icons alluding to the visitor interests to be found in the area.
The signs were designed by Ian White Associates and were installed for the 2014 whisky festival.
The signs are formed by an aluminium signage mounted on timber slab with stainless steel legs set in concrete. The installation is designed to passive standards to collapse under vehicle impact as it is a near roadside feature.
